David Haun

I grew up playing baseball all my life in Florida. I played for various travel ball teams Gatorball in Gainesville, FL being a more prominent one. I played in high school mainly for St. John Lutheran School in Ocala, FL but also Belleview High in Belleview, FL only for my 10th grade year.

My cumulative stats for high school are: .395 BA, 90 GP, 110 hits, 95 RBI’s, 8 HR, 38 doubles, 4 triples out of 273 AB and my pitching stats are 97.1 IP with 2.09 ERA and 139K. I have always been a power hitter and power arm. I topped out at 90 when my arm was good and had good command over several pitches 4 seam, 2 seam with good movement, 12-6 curve and slider with good break, and a circle change and splitter to compliment. I got hurt my senior year and sat out the first half of the year.

I came back strong but by the end of the season I was burnt out on baseball and did not want to play anymore even though I could have played college baseball instead I chose to join the Marines. I have re-found my love for the game and want nothing more than to get back into it and pursue it and see how far it will take me (college and hopefully professional) I just want to get back on the field and get back to doing what I love to do.
